Election Day Information

Location:
POC:
Start Date: Tuesday, November 2, 2021
Duration 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM

The Westmere Fire Department is an official Polling Place for Election Day, only.

Registered voters who are assigned to vote at the Westmere Fire Department may visit from 6:00am - 9:00pm.

We have 49 parking spaces (plus 3 handicapped spaces) across 2 parking lots. Please do not park in any spaces reserved for firefighters in case there is an emergency, nor may you park parallel along the fence in our rear lot (except for the 3 marked spaces). Voters may wish to use additional marked spaces across Center Drive in the parking lot for Guilderland EMS Station 1. Again, please do not park in any reserved spaces. Election workers are kindly asked to park further away from the building to allow voters to easily access the polling place.

Westmere Fire Department, Westmere Fire District, and Guilderland EMS are not responsible for controlling traffic during the event. Uniformed members from either department will ask you to move your vehicle if you park in any space you are not permitted to, but we are unable to point you to open parking spaces.

Any issues that arrise on Election Day should be brought to the attention of an election worker, or the Albany County Board of Elections by calling (518) 407-5060. Please do not call the Fire Department.
